Tropical Depression is a Filipino reggae band formed in 1987 by vocalist/rhythm guitarist Dominic "Papadom" Gamboa (1965-2013) and lead guitarist Lawrence "Bonglennon" Eudela. The band was one of the several bands who spearheaded the 1990s Pinoy rock explosion and popularized the songs "Kapayapaan" and "Bilog Na Naman ang Buwan" The group went into hiatus in 2013 following the death of original lead vocalist Dominic Gamboa greatly known as “Papadom”. Gamboa died a day before his 48th birthday in December 2013.
