(1) Trophy Wife were an Oxford based indie/electronic/math rock band consisting of Jody Prewett (vocals, guitar, bass), Ben Rimmer (keyboards) and Kit Monteith (drums/percussion). They toured with Foals and Moshi Moshi and released their debut single entitled Microlite in 2010. This single was followed by an EP, Bruxism in 2011 and their self-titled debut album Trophy Wife in 2013. Drawing inspiration from artists like The Need, Shellac, Big Business and Lauryn Hill, Trophy Wife is the undeniable artistic conversation between two friends.
