Tripsalot De Reisleider is an electronic music producer and singer-songwriter from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. At the end of 2011 Tripsalot decided it was time to separate his more experimental indie 'trippy' music from his normal, more mainstream, music. Working under the Tripsalot (De Reisleider) moniker, Tripsalot now has more artistic freedom than before. De Reisleider's music is best described as a mixture of Post-Dubstep, Indie/Dream Pop, IDM, Dutch Hiphop and Lo-fi chillwave. Unlike many other mainstream indie pop and hiphop artists, his style revolves around spokenword, (analogue) synthesizers, ambient soundscapes and unusual time signatures. Tripsalot is now working on an EP set to be released around the second quarter of 2012.
