A famous Buzz once spoke of ‘to infinity and beyond’. This however, is a buzz, all about 'Trinity and Beyond': a name to watch, and with a sound that is deep, warm and at times, moving. A collaboration between close friends DJ Trinity and producer John Tzineris, it is borne out of a passion for all things musical; Trinity was, and continues to be a mainstay of the Sydney dance collective, supporting the likes of James Holden, Max Cooper and Satoshi Tomiie, while Tzineris brings to the production table studies in classical music composition and studied at Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music. Tzineris was a bass player in a jazz funk band, before Trinity introduced him to her gigs. The rest is history, and this labour of love has produced a breathtakingly deep sound that is unique and instantly recognizable. In two years, they have produced an increasingly highly regarded back catalogue of releases that impress DJs and punters alike. Their first EP 'Beyond Musique' was released on Melbourne label, Pinksilver in 2009. As well as releases on Pinksilver, tracks including ‘Near and Far’ (Beef Records) and ‘Early Morning Freestyles’ (Cinematique) were released showing that the initial buzz was indeed justified. Laced with a signature sound with flowing atmospherics, melodic overtones and deep chords, their tracks are fast gaining support from a bevy of artists, including Deepchild, Terry Francis, Pawas, Brendon Moeler, Onur Ozman, Benoit, Jamie Stevens and Murat Kilic.
