Trinidad "Trini" Alvarado (born January 10, 1967 in New York City, New York) is an American actress, singer, and dancer best known for her roles in Gillian Anderson's 1994 adaptation of Little Women and and Peter Jackson's The Frighteners. While she is better known for her acting, Alvarado has often demonstrated her gift of song in her roles. In her first stage appearance in Elizabeth Swados's Runaways, she sang the lead on "Lullaby from Baby to Baby." She sang "Your Daughter is One" alongside Robin Johnson in the film Times Square before playing the lead role in the 1984 off-Broadway musical Yours, Anne.
