Trim (real name Javan St. Prix) is a grime MC from Chrisp Street, E14 (Isle of Dogs). He first began MCing with the Bomb Squad around 2002, shortly after he left jail. He soon made a name for himself for his use of wordplay and his individual flow. He was a member of the Roll Deep Crew with fellow East London MCs Wiley, Riko, Breeze, Roachee and Scratchy (whom he attended school with). He eventually left Roll Deep after numerous disagreements with Flowdan. Trim has released three mixtapes (Soulfood Vol. 1-3) on which members of his new crew ‘The Circle’ make appearances. Soulfood Vol.4 is set to be released soon, with four tracks, ‘Be Careful’, ‘Four Letter Word, ‘Pram’ and ‘Flow’ (calling out Flowdan) having appeared on his Myspace.
