The presence of Trim The Fat productions on the electronic music scene has grown substantially over the past year, establishing themselves as a firm favourite in the sets of Anjuadeep DJ’s Jaytech, PROFF and James Grant. Having supplied, hugely well received, featured artist mixes for leading electronic music outlets Proton Radio, Frisky Radio and the Electronic Groove Podcast, it is apparent that Trim The Fat’s talents lie not only in the studio, but also in his ability to pick out the finest beats, this is thanks mainly to a misspent youth digging endlessly through boxes of vinyl trying to find that one hidden to get the dance floor shivering. With multiple appearances on Matt Darey’s Nocturnal podcast and a remix on the outstanding Modifi Music label receiving an airing by James Zabiela on the Radio 1 Essential Selection, it is safe to say that his music has already achieved some dizzying heights on what is essentially still the start of his musical journey.
