Triimitonio (Greek: Τριημιτόνιο, which means "third minor", a music term) is a Greek-Cypriot band that combines rock, alternative, pop and greek folk music. The members are: - Marios Koumas (Born on February 2, 1984 in Nicosia, Cyprus) - Angelos Avgousti (Born on September 15, 1986 in Nicosia, Cyprus) - Dimitris Pasios (Born on September 30, 1987 in Athens, Greece) The original band (with Marios Koumas, Dimitris Pasios and Angelos Astropalitis) was created from the judges of the first edition of the Greek X Factor (the three singers went to the auditions as solo). They managed to stay until the final, in which they finished 3rd (behind Loukas and Nikolas Metaxas and above Kokkina Halia. Before signing any contract, Angelos Astropalitis left the group and was replaced by Angelos Avgousti. Their first single was released in 2010 and it was entitled "Markadoros", and their first album, "Triimitonio" was released in December, 2010. Triimitonio was among the 6 candidates to represent Greece in Eurovision Song Contest 2011, with the song "Hamogela" (English: Smile).
