about

In 2012 Trigg (Bart Knol) started a cooperation with Erik van Geer (Gusset). Together they made the album "Legacy of the Witty" which was released on Preserved Sound. The album contains of 10 slow-jazz/doomjazz tracks with dark electronic sounds and lush melodies played by Erik on tenor-saxophone and bass-clarinet. Live they create a combination of electronic loops with improvised solo's on piano, fender rhodes, sax and clarinet. Trigg started creating music somewhere in de nineties. His first solo-album ‘Outside Vision’ was released early 2007 under the name Velvet Overdrive. This was also his first record without any constraints regarding style or composition. This resulted in a mix of electronica, triphop, postrock and nu-jazz. In 2011 Trigg released the cinematic album 'Beige' on Human Workshop and the amospheric 'Soil' on Clinical Archives User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
