Artist
Trevor Potts is approaching the prime of his career with enviable poise. Having continued success leading his band, Last Night, Trevor is well known to shoot beyond the stars and lead the willing through his musical visions. His diverse writing style and alluring presence captivate large audiences in massive outdoor venues equal to the subtle performances seen in friendly neighbourhood coffee houses and impromptu campfire sing-a-longs. He quite simply has "it"... Trevor is a multi-instrumentalist born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario. His experiences growing up in a musician/performer's home (Trevor's Mother, Dianne Potts) have produced a musical mind whose musical creations capture the simplest and most complex listeners all on the same record. Trevor enjoys classical arrangement and somewhat unique instrumentation in his writing. Combined with worldly travels and a child-like attraction to folk, reggae, and pop genres, his pieces carry significant depth and speak for themselves... As a youngster, Trevor was exposed to top 40 music of the 80’s such as Phil Collins, Richard Marx, and Foreigner, which instilled the values of rhythm and vocal flexibility. Most days as a toddler were spent in the living room, microphone in hand, belting out the lyrics to “Sussudio” before he could formulate proper sentence structure. Through his adolescence and teen years, Trevor’s musical tastes diversified to the playful harmonies of the Barenaked Ladies. Like many others in the early 90’s
