a young indie, rock band from Wakefield, West Yorkshire that formed in summer 2006. As soon as they had enough songs to scratch about with they began gigging. The four 19-22 year old lads went from strength to strength and could be found on bills with the likes of Reverend and the Makers, The Research, Middleman, Skint And Demoralised and The Grammatics. In 2008 an expanding fan base in Leeds, York and Huddersfield developed further interest in the band from outside sources. Since the summer the lads have revisited there old gigging habits were they left off and have already sold out Leeds cockpit, supported Radio 1 favorites Cheeky Cheeky & The Nosebleeds and their mate Skint And Demoralised (Mercury Records) on his single launch. In 2008 new material has been written and a 3 track promo entitled 'Nightmares' has been recorded. In December the band was approached by London based label Put It On Records to realise a single from the promo in April 2009. With gigs already booked supporting Glasto favourites: Golden Silvers and Indie legends The Rakes, a UK tour and a single in the pipeline 2009 is already cemented as a big year for Tres Macacos...
