about

Tray Electric is an electronic music producer and musician from Nottingham, UK. Tray uses keyboards, guitars, vocoders and his own vocals as well as good old fashioned programming to make songs that are suited to both the stereo or the dancefloor. Since stepping out to perform live Tray has performed for heavyweight Notts promotions and label Wigflex, alongside world champ scratch DJ Switch, with UK dance / party band Royal Gala, for The Invisible Circus at Boomtown Fair, and Headstock Festival A string of dates and releases are planned for late 2011 / early 2012. “Grinding electronica, both soothing and vital, if this is the future, we like it muchly” Play Music Magazine "Tray Electric... a ‘band’ comprised of the multi-talented Jody Betts along with an array of clever sound trickery... like a much better version of Mike Skinner’s The Streets..."
