The band Travelling Tribes unites lo-fi tribal cries with transistor drums, the power of instincts and grand reverb with the alternative world music scene. Without any limitations of genres or boundaries of expression the Copenhagen situated band sounds as great and alive in a tiny dirty barroom in the busy metropolis as in the sweet shadow of a humid jungle. Through bubbling creativity they gather inspiration from all around the world to make their own music. Unison singing, Chinese cello melodies, African drums, whistling choral parts, atmospheric keyboards and noise guitar mix together in a journey around the globe. The band experience their musical universe as a result of the globalized world of today – a grand collage of constant exposure to sounds, views, scents and news, expressions and impressions from all cultures entwined, confused and colorful.
