Travailleur En Trance is ebm/electro-industrial band from Hamburg, Germany, founded in 1993 by CS as a solo project, the line-up was later expanded with the addition of RI. Initially influenced by early EBM acts like Front 242, Tommi Stumpff, Front Line Assembly, Nitzer Ebb and Klinik, their music incorporates elements of newer electronic dance music such as electronica and minimalist techno. Despite the name, their sound does not include Trance. After a hiatus in the late '90s, TET was revived in 2004, releasing their first CD album, "Ultima Ratio Intervention." Known for their aggressive live performances and militaristic B-movie inspirations from the cold war era, TET has garnered praise for their energetic and danceable tracks. Their work has been described as a compelling evolution of the traditional EBM sound, resonating with both nostalgia and modernity.
