TraumaSutra is a Belgian sound artist. TRAUMASUTRA is foremost a liveproject, working with found objects to make music, but also introducing elements of algorythmic music, musique concrète, industrial and even fado. Live, TraumaSutra tries to do a completely different way of performing each time. A constant aim in the project is to collaborate en join forces with other artists in other disciplines. Examples of this are performances with poets, painters and performance artists (Josefine Fine, Venijnig gebroed,...) The project has been collaborating with a lot of other musicians too, of which the most well-known is HYBRYDS. Others include Dark Poem, For greater good, Cyboresis (HXP), Adamennon and Kristus Kut. There has been one official release on SILKEN TOFU in 2008. The release is self-titled but sometimes referred to as Chapter 1. This cd has been sold-out shortly after its release.
