Trash Pub is an indie/garage rock band that writes nonsensical lyrics. Formed int 2018 by Spencer J. and Nash A. the band was originally inspired by Tenacious D to write humorous songs, resulting in their 2018 self titled EP. While the EP wasn't exactly what the band was hoping to release, it showed them how the whole process worked and what to improve on, which was apparent with their first album released during quarantine in 2020 titled 'The Second Coming' signifying that the band was back and ready to show their new sound. They still kept the light, comedic style writing from before but made the songs easier to actual jam to with more focus on the lyrics and slight harmonies. The album was hyped up to their small fan base with classics such as 'Reddit Way', 'GFuel Song' and 'Quarantine.' The album didn't do to well due to band not really having a true way to push it out their fans, but the band made very small amounts of physical CD burns to sell to a very small amount of fans. The band almost instantly started on new material after the release of 'The Second Coming,' this time taking inspiration from punk classics like Butthole Surfers and Meat Puppets, while still retaining their original comedic writing. The album, titled 'The Nxt One', incorporated distortion guitar and even bass on many of the tracks, thanks to new member Alex W.S, giving more to listen to for the listeners.
