Trappist Afterland is an Australian psychedelic folk project led by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Cole and featuring Phil Coyle (Tabla, Frame Drum, vocals) Nicholas Albanis (Bell Citern, Hammered Dulcimer, Bowed Psaltery) and Lachie Henderson (Acoustic Guitar). Formed in 2010 in Melbourne, the band uses voice, various acoustic stringed instruments, tabla, percussion, harmonium and drones.
