From love to hate, from tears to laughter, from yesterday until our days… Tragicomi-k was born in Madrid, in the year 2000, from the hand of Jose Riaza. The concept is a rock band that embraces extreme musical genres and without boundaries in the matter of lyrics; to treat any subject, from any angle: irony, realism, tragedy, comedy, social, fantasy… Why in México? An invitation to participate in the second record of a band from Guadalajara, X-Kantina, "Del Tequila al Kalimotxo" (From Tequila to Calimotxo) (Hilargi Records 2003) brings Jose Riaza to México and, fascinated by Guadalajara, he decides to stay and develop his project here And how is a concert? Spanish fusion and land mixture, dancing & poems, tragedy & comedy... Tragicomi-k offers us a carnival of sounds and feelings that transports us to their own limits. Their music is a trip that goes from traditional melodies to the Rock-Pop fusion of our time. Besides, the show gains another dimension thanks to the dance, a perfect assemble that goes from flamenco to the contemporany, colored by Tragicomi-k and giving it the visual soul that it deserves. And what about experience? Since it's arrival to México, Tragicomi-k has given more that 150 presentations.
