Building on the success of the singles "Temptation" and "Guess What?," TRÉ THOMAS has released his debut, full-length project, "A Natural Contrast." Charged with a vision for ministry that commingles the "churchy" with the unchurched, and R&B sensibilities with gospel, Tré himself is a study in contrasts. He's a young man with an old soul, in whom a love of the Lord coexists with a desire to tear down the walls of the church. All of those elements will be explored on "A Natural Contrast," which promises to have something for everyone—head-banging tracks for the clubs, reflective ballads for the introspective, contemporary gospel and praise & worship for the church, all interwoven by gospel's message. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Tré realized his passion for music at a very early age. Although he grew up in church, R&B has always been his musical frame of reference. It's his desire to stay true to what he knows artistically without overshadowing the ministry of his music. That goal has led him on a ministerial journey rich in experience afforded by opportunities in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Currently a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church (H. Beecher Hicks, Pastor), Tré has held membership in Daniel Austin & Divine Adoration, Charles Butler & Trinity, as well as the Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University; served as musical director, assistant to the minister of music, psalmist and worship leader at Carolina Missionary Baptist Church (Anthony E.
