Artist
Home-produced ultra-indie experimantal pop from Tokyo, Japan. With a cassette release of 'the wasp in the honey', Murayama Yuko the one-girl group that is touchluck, trashcan produces found sounds and sweet melodic eccentricities. Her most recent release from 2003 is a 5-song CD mini album on Galaxy Train records, the wonderfully titled '勾玉月夜' or 'comma shaped jewels on a moonlit night'. When playing live Yuko brings two friends on to perform, and will often cover tracks from such relatively unknown groups as 'blast of country style' (from where Yuko got the name toughluck, trashcan) and 'weekend'. Yuko is also known to play in the japanese indie group 'de kooning', who have released an album on vroom sound.
