Tormentor was a German Thrash metal band formed in 1982, they had been previously known as Metal Militia, and as Tyrant, before changing their name to Kreator in 1984. As Tormentor, they released 2 demos; Blitzkrieg, in 1983, and End of the World, in 1984. The band's original lineup consisted of Mille Petrozza, Jürgen 'Ventor' Reil, and Rob Fioretti.
