Torgny * is the solo project of Torgny Amdam. Torgny Amdam was born and bred in Oslo and is known from various bands and music projects throughout the years. He started out singing in ONWARD, one of Europe’s first straight edge bands. Then he founded the hardcore band AMULET who released four albums and several 7”s and EPs. He was also the singer in BLACK DIAMOND BRIGADE. Torgny has also worked with contemporary music in Ny Musikk and has been involved as a writer and editor of by:Larm News and Ultima Contemporary Music Festival. He is also a member of the performance outfit Torgny Amdam Classical Trio. He resides in Oslo, Norway. His solo concert debut was during the Øyafestival in 2009.
