Artist
Tor Karseth (born 1956) is a singer/songwriter from Hamar, Norway. Apart from making music, Karseth has written more than 30 plays which, together with his many albums, has made him highly acknowledged and awarded locally, but also on a national scale. Two of his plays have been shown on the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). Most of his lyrical content touches upon local and local-historical subjects and themes such as life in Hamar, the lake Mjøsa and that guy who steamed into the londoner bazaar (who was he?), to mention only a few examples. He's often compared to the legendary Norwegian folk-singer Alf Prøysen, not only because of the music but also the language (they both sing in a very notable dialect).
