Toony TuneS, a rapper/producer out of L.A., enlisted the talented thirteen year old Mr. Mockwell to produce his latest project, Conducted Sounds Of Drama (http://toony.bandcamp.com/album/conducted-sounds-of-drama). Which came out of the blue because based on previous material Toony is fully capable of producing his own music and then rapping over it but what's realized this time around was how much he benefited from letting someone else produce the sounds for him. Toony's lyricism on this tape is much more improved than his past releases and while this comparison has been beat to death and then buried, he really mirrors Doom's delivery and lyricism in this project. This may be a stretch but the flow resembles Common's a bit. However, at the end of the day, Toony's one of those artists who's beyond comparison, beyond placement; he just is. @TwoKneeTuneS.
