Tony deKaro discovered his special love for electronic music already at the age of seven. In 1988, at sixteen years of age, Tony began his career as a DJ behind the Techniks 1210. Three years later, he started producing under the pseudonym Atropin. In 1993, he launched the project The Sequencer together with Andreas Motke and Ralph Hahner. Numerous successful CD-LP releases followed shortly thereafter. Eventually Tony broadened his range to produce maxi CDs and vinyl, releasing "The Sequencer - Sound“ and "Der Dritte Raum - Trommelmachine-Remix“ as The Sequencer. He performed live from 1994 to 1996 at locations such as Paramount Park, Spirit of Dreams and Sound of Frankfurt. During this time, Tony also produced and released his first solo project in 1996 with the maxi-single "Atropin - hope / the remixes“. A year later The Sequencer joint venture project dissolved, and Tony changed his stage name from Atropin to Tony deKaro. He still remains closely involved in community projects and productions in cooperation with various artists. All publications and releases of his work are on these labels: Virgin, Rydeen Music, ASW, 3Lanka, 23 Frankfurt, Harthouse, Choke-Music, 3D Records, Psycho Tunes and Android Muziq.
