Artist
With nothing but word of mouth, Tonight we die has managed to win the hearts of anyone willing to listen...and it continues. TWD's music has been described by some to be,"intensely emotional, relentlessly honest and unforgivingly introspective". It is no doubt that their songs are written to mirror the heart, whether to encapsulate those dreams of being anything you want, such as in the song, "the stolen conversation with green" Or to mourn the loss of friends and loved ones as in the deeply melancholic chorus of, "Not the right time to fade out." Much of their emotion is delivered through Claude's incredibly well written lyrics and profoundly unique voice, the raw intensity of Shaun's powerful yet subtle and creative guitaring, Wilbert's intricate, soulful and distinct basslines and Mike's hard-hitting, dynamic and sometimes strangely positioned time signatures. However, as talented as each of these individuals are, it is only when they come together, up on that stage and sharing that they truly shine. Tonight we die is passion. The music they create is sincere, it is sometimes serious and at other times, playful. But one thing you can be sure of, is that it will always be handmade and delivered...
