Tomorrow Comes Early is a powerpop duo founded by Jakob Albinsson and Cristian Ekman in 2010 and based in Gothenburg, Sweden. They started this duo sharing the love of powerpop bands like Teenage Fanclub, Nada Surf, Big Star and The Posies. They recorded two songs in 2012 with the help from their good friend Simon Hildor who recorded and mixed the songs, but it took ten years before they were released. The two songs came as an early Christmas gift in December 2022. There’s plenty more to come. A full-length album is in the making. Cristian also has his solo project Distance is a way of life and 1969 Armstrong with his friend Calle Thoor (Bolywool). Cristian was a member of Bolywool between 2004 and 2011. Through the years he’s also been in bands like City Maze, December's Children, Homelake, Valla, Strange Brew and There There. The latter was a shoegaze/indie rock band which he shared with Jakob and Simon. Jakob is a real guitar wizard. He has his solo project Dar Adal and through the years he has been in bands like Only If You Call Me Jonathan, Buck, There There, José González and Junip.
