: Tom Real : It’s fair to say it’s been a busy year for Tom Real, beginning with his debut release of the year ‘Feel My’ (alongside production partner The Rogue Element) becoming ‘Single Of The Month’ in leading UK dance press DJ & I-DJ, the pair also won the accolade ‘Best Remixer’ at this years Breakspoll Awards 2007 at London’s Fabric, Nightclub. Having performed killer peak-time sets at the UK’s leading festivals; Glastonbury, Glade, Wildchild Outdoors and Sunrise Celebration, Tom has also regularly performed around the UK with key headline slots at leading London venues Turnmills and The End. 2007 also saw the release of his debut compilation album ‘Functionals Finest Moments’ for Functional Records and remixing the 50th release from the same label, this year has seen Tom’s profile as a DJ and producer have gone into stratospheric proportions and shows no sign of it slowing down... baby! On the production front Tom’s genre-crossing tech / electro / breaks sound has seen him remix legendary US dance act The Crystal Method (alongside The Rogue) for a special 10th anniversary remix album which the band have commissioned. Tom and Rogue’s remix sits alongside remixes from A-list producers such as Paul Oakenfold, MSTRKFT, DJ Hyper, Deadmau5 and many more.
