Singer-songwriter Tom James grew up at the British coast in Cornwall, where he spent most of his youth surfing and jamming on his guitar. Along the way Tom learned 'finger picking' from expert Andy McKee and developed a style mixing picking the strings, hitting chords and using the guitar as a percussion instrument.
