Artist
Tom Heasley is an American professional tuba player who worked with a variety of musicians, including Charlie Haden, Wadada Leo Smith, and Malcolm Mooney, and has been given multiple awards, such as an Artist Fellowship in Musical Composition by the Arts Council of Silicon Valley, to name one. Tom is also known as a solo artist for his work in ambient music where he uses tuba as a main instrument for creating delay loops, as well as voice and didjeridu. He released three solo albums Where the Earth Meets the Sky, On the Sensations of Tone, and Desert Triptych between 2001 and 2005, and a few collaboration records followed these up later.
