Tokyo Riddim Band was born out of Time Capsule’s 2023 compilation 'Tokyo Riddim 1976-1985'. Their unique interpretations of ‘70s and ‘80s Japanese reggae pop has led to them selling out headline shows across London, and recently supporting Kyoto Jazz Massive at The Jazz Cafe. Formed by Kay Suzuki , and led by legendary keyboardist Izumi 'Mimi' Kobayashi, Tokyo Riddim Band is a culture clash phenomenon unlike anything else.
