Artist
Tokyo Knife Attack is the work of Glasgow resident Craig Bell who's musical influences cover a broad spectrum, but most notably electro hip-hop, disco and synth pop. Craig started making music as a kid in the 80's by putting cassette recorders inside cardboard boxes and battering them with wooden spoons, a technique he still advocates to this day... although he has developed a few extra skills over the years, we think you'd agree. His chunky beats and friendly melodies swim gleefully against the current tide of dark and bassy electro, although he has been known to indulge in a spot of darkness himself with the brooding debut EP 'Generic Signal' for his Ditone project in 2006.
