Tohsca is a French-American pop singer and songwriter from New York, Brazil and the USA. Both of her parents are French and relocated to the United States and then Sao Paolo. In her early teens, she was living between Paris and New York. While attending secondary school in New York, she started writing music to help a friend before eventually writing music on her own. At age 16, while modeling, she began writing songs herself. Drawing from various influences, such as Indie-pop, Hip Hop, and UK dance music, her music blends elements of Bedroom pop, house, garage, pop, and Drum & Bass. Her lyrical inspiration are tLana Del Rey, Lauryn Hill, Vanessa de Mata and Rihanna. She is also inspired by more emerging artists such as PinkPantheress and Beabadobee. Tohsca is discovered in a music scholarship by an a&r talent scout, she is signed to independent record label Throne Music in June of 2023.
