Today I Stand originally was formed by Matt Spencer when he was bored in his room with nothing to do. He started to write songs and came up with the first song dollhammer all alone. He and Matt Gromley decided to hit the studio together to get some good tracks down. The then grabbed guitarist Mikey Z and drummer Matt. They played a show at The BCA and then Matt left on terms of his other band. They then found Mihai to fill in for a few shows. When Matt Gromley Moved to Hawaii Spencer went to guitar and they picked up drummer Kevin. After bouncing around a bit with members they got a solid line up with Roger on guitar Mark on bass and Zach on vocals. After a show in Maryland Mark parted his ways for hockey season so they picked up the youngest member The Rookie. Just after rookie started playing Kevin left the band for college so they decided to pick up Mihai once more. Rookie started off as a bass player but moved his way up to guitar just recently Zach left the band due to work and other things. They just finally filled the last spot to make a full five peice again. with matt very the guy who recorded their last ep.
