Not much is known about the man called Toby2Shoes. We know that he hails from Cape Town, South Africa, that his real name is Toby Attwell, and that together with Ma’original helped establish the Balkanology event series. His music is a mix of African music, tech, breaks, swing, house, jazz, folk, country and funk. Toby2Shoes' biggest ever fan - he only has one - is TheMarshMallowManzee, who lives in the rural Western Cape of Cape Town (only one person lives there). It is hoped that TheMarshMallowManzee will promote Toby2Shoes' music, so that he at least can get another fan.
