Essentially, TO THE THRONE are four indie kids making music you wouldn’t expect. Instead of twee-guitar laden pop songs; Think dynamic, driven songs with a real element of showmanship. They’re the type of band that wouldn’t be found out of place in a support slot with Expatriate, And then again wouldn’t be mismatched in a punk show. Having such a versatile identity and in just this year– To The Throne has been put alongside Dallas Crane, Whiskey Go Gos, Bertie Blackman, Sparkadia and The Cops in various venues around Sydney. With the bigger picture of the band expanding; so to has the music. With their new EP ‘BLIND BLIND BLIND’ having just been completed, diverse elements of their influences have been conjured up in the songwriting.
