Tip Toe Topic are a 2-person lo-fi band by Elko Blijweert & Saar v/d Leest, instruments are drum-machine, loops keyboard, clarinet, guitar and vocals. Their style reminds of Jazz-crooners and NY underground. Live Elko uses his loopstation to built up an amazingly wide sound of guitarrifs which he interrupts with virtuoso solo's. Saar her voice, keyboard and clarinet sparkle in between to perfectly balance the sound. Their first album (untitled) was released in the year 2007. The second album 'Save Me' is a picture disc release limited on 500 copies. (december 2010 including cd) Tip Toe Topic is popular in Belgium but also in Taiwan, they've been their twice and return in the spring of 2010. Elko Blijweert and Saar v/d Leest are also focussing on video recordings.
