2005 saw the birth of a new twisted child of modern rock and metal. With his ‘controversial’ views on politics, religion, sex and life, Tinkatrain has managed to create a sound that is edgy, dark and unique. With influences from all kinds of music from jazz to industrial, Tinkatrain has maintained his originality in his progression. In 2006, he released his debut album. With material covering various sensitive topics, it managed to generate a lot of interest. However 2007 sees him progressing even further. His second album, with its edgier sounds, heavier riffs, and deeper underlining direction, “dismisses the first album to one side,” as Tinkatrain puts it. The new album will contain lyrical material such as “End of Days” and “Euro God” along with instrumental pieces fit for major motion pictures. While not being too modest to boast about the fact that he plays every instrument himself, Tinkatrain continues to draw influence from world issues, other musicians, other genres of music and constant self improvement, and continues to move forward, drawing more people in with his music.
