Timmy the Tapeworm has been the primary sound project from Minneapolis-based multimedia artist, James Allen since 2005. There have been dozens of EPs and albums released on various netlabels, as well as numerous compilation appearances & remixes. Timmy the Tapeworm uses samplers, cassette players & repeaters, circuit-bent & homemade electronics, and various computer programs to cut apart & manipulate his homemade & found sounds. Performances range from short, harsh noise sets in basements & bars to dance sets at clubs & raves.
