Times Red are Scott Ritchie, Luke White and Staz Nair. Our belief that we could create good music brought us together and as our friendship evolved so did our music. We became brothers and together braved challenges of the music industry. Our song writing, a very cathartic process, is driven by honesty and passion and truth rules over rhyme as we share our life experiences. Each song contains a part of who we are. Our musical influences range from Dubstep to rock, Euphoric dance to pop where we try to recreate the emotion and intensity of the story using all the sounds and instruments available to us, striving to make each song as EPIC as possible which all makes for a unique Times Red sound. Our passion for creating music is only matched by our love of live performances and we can say, without fear, our stage performance is where we come to life and put on a show and entertain, music after all is a form of escapism and its our responsibility to take our audience on a journey. Our own journey started two years ago and has been an intense apprenticeship where we have lived through the highs and lows, experiencing the best and worst of what the music industry had to offer. A classic tale of false starts and unexpected obstacles.... but we persevered all fuelled and aided by the incredible reaction we get from our live performances and have emerged the other side as Times Red.
