TIM WOLFE, Jr. bassist, Telford (US) TIM WOLFE, JR. is a mainstay on the jazz scene in the Central and South-Eastern Pennsylvania. After graduating from Lebanon Valley College, where he studied with Harrisburg PA’s Jim Miller (himself a student of the great Art Davis who was notably with John Coltrane), Tim moved to Philadelphia to attend The University of the Arts, earning his Master’s degree in Jazz Studies. While in Philadelphia, Tim earned another equally important education regularly attending jam sessions and paying his dues. Tim has music in his genes. His grandfathers were both mainstays on the Washington, D.C. jazz scene for decades, one a saxophonist and one a bassist, and he has followed in their footsteps by immersing himself in the jazz tradition. In addition to keeping a busy performing schedule throughout the mid-Atlantic, he also runs a private teaching studio out of his home and is an Adjunct Professor of Music at Lebanon Valley College.
