Tim was born and brought up in Hazel Grove, a suburb of Stockport, England. In 1985 aged 14, Tim took up electric bass guitar one year later changing to electric lead guitar as he commenced studying for his GCSE music at Hazel Grove High School achieving a C grade overall but achieving an A in his composition. He left school at 16 with four GCSE passes and went on to Salford College of Music “but dropped out before he got kicked out” [2] finding he could not cope with the written work due to his dyslexia.
