After reeling us in with his romantic debut ‘It’s All About Love’, Tim Oxley returns with the wonderful new album ‘Kitchen Songs.’ Whilst themes of heartache and happiness are revisited, Tim Oxley explores further the highs and lows of domesticity. Matters of the heart continue to inspire Tim lyically but musically ‘Kitchen Songs’ is more stylistically diverse. Highlights are abound on this album with the upbeat opening track ‘Stepford Husband’, the melancholy of ‘Drift Away’ and unforgettable lines like “If I stay too long I will love you forever” on ‘Warm Night.’ The album also features homage to two great artists - ‘Elliott’ (a tribute to Elliott Smith who Tim has proudly been compared to) and the country tinged ‘Johnny and June’ (an ode to Johnny and June Cash).
