Artist
After years spent honing his craft, only to lose to the frustrations of competing influences around him, Tim had opted out. The tip jar gigs, the long hauls, and the endless chase for suburban popularity were no longer fun. He closed his guitar case, stopped the one night gigs, bought a renovator's delight in the bush, and settled into "boots off" oblivion. That was the plan. But rural life and hammer and nail makeovers don't compensate for a missed stage, the crank of a band, or the live energy of satisfied fans. As a guitarist, a promising songwriter and a recognised voice in country, Tim felt the tell-tale signs of deprivation. He needed to get back to performing. But this time it would be different. Refreshed, refocused and rearing to go with clutch of new tunes, the good-looking 27-year old, partnered by former Ol' 55 drummer and todays driving force with The Breakers, Geoff Peterkin, set about making a cutting album of tightly crafted songs Seasons of Change is that album. This debut, recognised by promoters and fans as a breakthrough, recenly claimed album and performance nods at The Victorian Country Music Awards. Nominated for Victorian Album of the Year, Hawking Brothers Best New Talent, National Male Vocalist, and the award which Tim won, the local Victorian Male Vocalist of the Year, the album has quickly cemented Tim's place in local music. Given his home state popularity, there are plans to introduce Tim to further country markets within Australia. Absorbed
