Tim Detone was born in Moscow, Russia but lived in Cyprus for most of his life. He is passionate about electronic music and has been spinning since 2009 when he got himself his first pair of Pioneer decks and a mixer. Being a frequent guest at Club Volume helped Tim gain his first residency where he played alongside DJ Technic, a previously UK based DJ who has played in Ministry of Sound. Later on Detone went on to play at the summer Club Retro on the beach. He has played warm up sets for Bobina, Russia’s top trance DJ, and Marcus Schossow and Marco V at the Summer Ambiance Festival in assosiation with Ministry Of Sound. Tim Detone’s main musical preferences are the different sub genres of house and trance such as tech, progressive and deep. His sets usually provide a balanced mix of all them. Since 2010 Tim has been involved in production, and after months of experimenting with different styles, he is now mainly focused on deep, progressive and tech house.
