about

Tiffany Evans (born August 4, 1992) is an American singer. She was born in the Bronx, New York City, and began to sing at an early age. Before she achieved success, she and her family were homeless and living in their van for five months. Later, she went on to compete in Star Search twice and received a perfect score in the junior division both times, at one point winning over Lisa Tucker, a finalist on Season 5 of American Idol. Evans was trained by vocal coach Sal Dupree, who also trained young singer Bianca Ryan, a future Star Search contestant and America's Got Talent winner. Evans sang "Who Am I?" for the film Tarzan II and its soundtrack. She appeared in the movie Diary of a Mad Black Woman and appeared on its soundtrack as well. She signed to Columbia Records in 2006. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2008 and included the singles "Promise Ring" featuring Ciara and "I'm Grown" featuring Bow Wow.
