Excerpt from MySpace page - Q: In 1995 TT recorded their last CD and in November of ’95 they played their last concert in Phoenix, AZ. What happened to Tierra Tejana? Lupe – We felt that it was the right time to stop. The music business became a business and it was a struggle to stay in business. We wanted to spend more time with our families. There were no arguments; it was a mutual decision in all our parts. We were tired and burned out from recording, performing and traveling for over 31 years. Upate: According to the band's Facebook page, the group was formed in 1977 in Seguin, Texas, comprising of Los Hermanos Gonzalez. In 2013, the band reformed and began touring Texas one last time (The Legacy Tour).
