TIBI & HER CELLO was born from a dream, the dream of two different sounds, Tibi’s voice and her beautiful cello, breathing together with a clear yearning: innovating. Teresa started studying cello when she was 9. She finished her studies there in 2004 receiving the title of cello instructor. While she was studying classical music, she also got interested in modern music. After several years of experience in both classical and modern music she started working as a cello player, backing vocalist and arrangement composer for bands in Spain and Liverpool. Some of these include: / Zahara / China Crisis / Gary Daly of the Crisis / Alex Ferreira / Georgina / Richter / Lára Rúnarsdóttir / Kakafonia / Zoe Nicol / Shopie Raynolds / Marcha Hormiga / Martin Page / Emerge / Large and Loose (Big Band LIPA) She is currently studying a modern music degree at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and developing her own project.
