Thursday Free were a short-lived jam band from Tonbridge, UK who were active from 2006 to 2008. The band was formed by a group of sixth-form friends who, upon discovering they had the same free period on a thursdays, decided to make music together. The line-up consisted of various musicians from other school bands, the most regular contributors being Will Page (Guitars, Drums, Keyboard, Bass) of Kadets and The Case fame, Sam O' Leary (Bass), Abigail Jaggers) (Drums) and Ski2 members Ayyaz Quddus (Guitars, Keyboards, Drums, Bass) & Gareth Stead (Bass, Vocals). Other regular contributers included Icarus and The Case bassist James FitzGerald, Matt Burt (Drums) and Cassie MacKenzie (Guitar). The band managed to produce a few notable songs including "The Good Times" and "Simultaneous Free", though plans for an E.P. "Third Thing" and an album "After Biology" were shelved.
