Threes and Nines

about

Three's and Nines was put together by front man Jake Brebs. Jake originally joined the local music scene doing solo acts. With his early sound often being compared to the likes of Bright Eyes he decided form a whole new sound and with it he would need a full band. The core of 3's & 9's has always been Jake and his loyal drummer Max Triplet. However they have had their fair share of bassists, including Gabe Munoz(currently bassist for Blesk.) Their songs rang from silly stories of a carnival freak falling in love to some interesting views on life. All in all Jake Brebes' music is fun and entertaining, and as Jake matures so does his music. Tasha Brittain plays the stand up bass and the bands new album is being produced by Gordon Gano of the Violent Femmes.
